RICHARD was selected as the EP contractor for a four-phase project to develop a 10,000 BPD Renewable Diesel Unit adjacent to an existing refinery in Louisiana. RICHARD was responsible for all study phase engineering, producing the FEED package, and subsequently providing engineering, design, and procurement services for the project. Local subcontractors were engaged for various areas of the unit. At the time of construction, this was the first large-scale Renewable Diesel project in the U.S. Prior to the unit's startup, RICHARD also initiated engineering and design to increase the capacity to 18,000 BPD, successfully completing the expansion in 2018.
